Default Modification Diary

FINALLY PAID OFF THE LEXUS! What better way to celebrate than starting the modifications! I'd be stupid to not have start a MOD LOG on CL! Anyways this is what I did this month and probably will be it for a few months since my newborn daughter. =). Enjoy, not a ballah so nothing extreme here!

1. Window Tint: 35% All rear/ 0 Front after fix it ticket planing to do 40%, too lazy to look up legal limit in CALI.

2. Aerotech Redouts.

3. Carbon Fiber License Plate with Chrome Lexus Logo.

4. OEM Trunk Spoiler

5. Lexus stem valve caps... I know lame right? Its still a mod =)

6. Ebay roof spoiler.. No idea what replica but fitment was spot on, no gap like others were talking about and color.. well obvious is obvious.

7. GFX Front Lip.

Up next, since I'm on a tighter budget with the newborn: AVS Seamless Visors =P

EBAY FTW! I bought the 3d logo separately and just stuck it on.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/REAL-...ht_3638wt_1165

It was only 20 bucks when I bought it.. looks like it went up.

I thought legal limit in CA is 70%.

It cant be zero, because as you go lower, the tint gets darker. 0 would mean no amount of light can get through, which means you cant see through the window.

I think sf was getting at illegal to tent the fronts...here the verdict though:

Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window Any darkness can be used.

Nice 250!

Are you the original owner? If not how much did you pay for it and how long did it take for you to pay it off? I'm not much of a baller either but it's always nice to have that relief of one less payment, not to mention a decent size payment like a car.

Keep this log updated!
