Battery in Key about dead
For anyone that procrastinates even though the low battery keeps flashing. If you go to your car one day and the car doesn't open. Do not panic! (like I did for a min) I just had this happen to me a couple of days ago.
Simply look under your door handle. You'll see a little slit where you can insert your physical key. Insert it until it stops, which is about 3mm? and turn lightly so the cover pops off. Insert key and turn to enter. Next, hold the key fob against the start button and start the car.

Check brand too. We usually carry Panasonic which is the original brand that came in them. We couldn't get Panasonic for a while and were using Renata brand. They didn't last near as long as the Panasonics.
I just ordered off of amazon. Weird thing is my key fob stopped working but the car no longer displays "low battery." It had that message for the past week, but now it acts as if nothing is wrong.
Luckily I just switch over to my spare fob for the time being until the new batteries arrive.

Called in dealer ealier, the guy told me he will charge me $6.95+tax for the battery and free labor which is not bad. BUT I just purchased 2 energize battery for $1.98/each with no tax on amazon! sweet!
