Does anyone know if the 2012 IS is going to be the same or is it gonna be the redesign. My IS goes back in march 2012.

 

2012 is a carry-over of 2011 with a few minor changes, including 2 colour changes and a couple small interior changes. Not much worth noting.

Do you know the 2 color changes? are they giving the IS 250/350 the same colors as the IS F?

 

they are getting rid of smokey granite mica and I believe one of the white colors, like glacier? I forgot.

 

The 2IS already got the same USB as the IS-F on the 2011 models already.

 

Yeah, the press release said Nebula Gray Pearl is replacing Smoky Granite Mica and Fire Agate Pearl is replacing Glacier Frost Mica.

 

Phew... good thing I got my car (smokey granite) and didn't wait for the '12s... but I suppose the new gray is not going to be that much different

damn, I was hoping they were going to give the IS 250 ultrasonic blue mica instead of the deep sea mica(blue always but darker then ultrasonic). At least on the lexus website for 2011 models it does not show ultrasonic blue mica as a color option. I hope the lexus website is just an error! lol

 

you can get an IS250 in USB.
You just have to get the F sport package instead of luxury package

on the website though i cant tell which one the F sport package is. Im assuming that it is the last package on the list that is about 4k more.

 

F-Sport package isn't listed on their website for some reason. No ability to select it in the configuration.

Fsport package is basically, slightly stiffer suspension, and the rest is all appearances. Go to the dealership once and you will know exactly what I'm talking about haha

Don't ever use that "build your own" crap on Lexus.com... all it will ever show is what your local dealer usually gets (hence why it asks for zip code)
