Exclamation Anyone know what this is?

I was going about 80 on the highway today (as was traffic) when the car in front of me changed lanes. The car made its way over and at the last second drove over something. Well this something ended up catapulting its way back towards my car. I hit it, but couldn't pull over because there was no shoulder and my house was literally about 2 minutes away. I get home, come outside look at the front of the car. Nothing. WTH? Look closer and see the lower grille was a little F'ed up. Look closer and that object that launched at me is now sitting behind the grille. This.

Anyone know what this is? It's a little over 5lbs. Solid steel.

Reached through the somewhat broken grille and pulled this out. Some scratches on the radiator but nothing broken.

Looks fine right?

It almost looks like an oversize light conduit I think is what they called it, the dealer pulled one out of my Tahoe to fix it one time and it looked like a way smaller version of that. Lucky that only it messed up your grill a little bit though, youll be alright!
