Ok i might not know stockers but i do know modified~ do NOT get that size/offsets UNLESS you like the hellaunflush look~ also you need to consider tiresize/drop/fender mods when deciding on rimsize/offset because everything is interconnected~
theres enough threads here on offsets so please read up on them, knowledge is power.

I do not really understand the mod side but already had input from an alignment tech that I need to watch the offsets and wheel size and not to deviate off too much from stock, otherwise it can affect the original vehicle's driving characteristics.

but you want to stretch the hell out of your tires on stocks and add spacers to get somewhere that is only cause more misfortune than good. in your original request you asked about stretching tires on stock for the aggressive look and you were slammed. wanted spacers to push the wheels out.
now you took advice from an alignment tech that told you changing wheel offsets and widths are going to affect the drving characteristics of the car. I know i had stretched tires. but my 265/35 stretched on an 18x12 on my gs, felt more planted and stable being slammed to the floor, than it did at stock height on stock tires.
im not sure what your trying to accomplish, but it you want a some what aggressive stance with stocks, get 15mm and 20mm spacers, roll your fenders and call it a day with stock tires.

Mv350,
I think you may have gotten confused with the op user. My car is stock. I am only changing the wheel's width and offset which balances out for the width. It is not stretching out because only the rim lip is wider by 17mm and backspace is 7mm deeper.
The specs I am using for the proposed new wheels is from Work Wheel's Japan spec for IS250/350 in their catalog. I've already heard from Work Wheel's USA and RavSpec (forum member) that those specs are conservative and I should go agressive, but I am not since I am retaining close to OEM specs which Work Wheels Japan's spec has provided.

IMO, stick with the 255's on the 9.5 rear for a stretch. Have you considered the road conditions in your area and how fast you drive?. If you're just cruising around you should be fine, but anything else smells like bent rims or rim rash. If you are going for the looks only; just have a spare. I'm sure you already thought about the cons that come with that anyway.
how slammed are you, are you this low. because this is tucking 19x8.5+15 with a 215/35. tucking most of the tire. i put this picture up cause the wheel is turned enough to make my point.

you adding a 20mm spacer is still 16mm less aggressive and mine didnt touch unless i was on a driveway.

Now that is some stretchin right there, I'd love to meet the guy who got that tire on that wheel and ask how hard it was to wrestle it on there.
