Default Issues with the IS350

Here is the couple issues that I have with my IS350.
1st: The click click noise from the engine. (most members here say it's the fuel injectors)
2nd: Today was the 2nd times that when I hit the start button the car is cranking but doesn't start I hit it again to shut it off then start up again and it's fine.
-----------------------
I happen to be with a family friend who is a well known mechanic, he was fixing a BMW at the moment, I told him that my car is making the clicking noise and it's annoying but I have to live with it because it's fuel injectors. He said pop your hood, I did, he look around took my engine cover off and said no it's not fuel injectors, it's your solenoid. I was like WAT?? He said lemme show you something that not a lot of people know. He brought out a large wrench and lean it on the solenoid I can actually feel that clinking while holding the wrench, then we move to the injectors.. They were fine. He told me that take it back to Lexus it should be cover under powertrain warranty... Now gotta wait to see what the dealer have to say..
2nd issue... I forgot to ask him. Anyone have similar issues

Yes I have noticed the same thing. It is very annoying and I only have 500 miles. I just thought it was the injectors but now I wonder if I should take it in?

I'm gonna take mine in soon and see what the dealer say. Put a wrench on the solenoid u can actually feel the clicking. U won't feel the same if u put what same wrench on te injectors.

Hmm not sure about click click noises. I thought the ticking is supposedly the direct injection. But a trip to the dealer seems to be in order

Yes "direct injection" that's right! Not fuel injectors sorry. The mechanic said that click click noises are from the solenoid.

here is the a picture and you can try it yourself. Can someone try this and let me know if you can feel the click click from holding the wrench?? cause from what the mechanic said that is the solenoid, not direct injection sound.Issues with the IS350-img_6375.jpg

How is the battery? That could affect it.

no, you can actually feel the clicks when holding the wrench(like a nail or small piece of metal hitting the wrench on the other end), try the wrench somewhere else you dont feel anything.

That sticker is usually when the battery was made.

And did your mechanic friend tell you what that solenoid does or is for? Does it send signal to the injectors to open/close.
