Default rotate screwup- any damage?

I just had my tires rotated and they put the backs on front and fronts on back. I noticed a scraping noise when I turned. My question is when I get them put on correctly is there any damage I should look for? Tires, rims or wheel well?

Disappointed the missed staggard setup.

Did the dealership do this? If it caused any damage, get them to pay for that kind of mistake.

If its just the tires, then you should check the fender liner.

Dealership or not, you would have a good argument at having that place pay for the damages.

My question is how did you not know they were staggered? You can tell by simply looking at the tires that they are different sizes...

Thx. Yeah when I picked it up I was busy and didn't notice. Luckily I've only driven about 20 miles. It was a local tire chain.

Aparently you just found out they're staggered? Why were you having them rotated?

I knew the were staggard. I was expecting swap left front to right front etc non directional tires. Does anyone else rotate?

Just had mine done last week, left to right too.

I would check the fender paint, cause mine cracked due to rubbing on tight turns..

swapping left to right wouldn't make no difference in staggered wheels. should have left them alone.

Wrong.

Some people do this if they are running higher than normal camber numbers to get the most outta the tire. You have to remove the tires and swap them l to r

Swapping left and right would counter or balance out the cupping effect for non-directional tires. Of course this would imply that the tire be taken out of wheel and to put it on the other wheel.

Directional tire, can't do that because the nature of the tread design.

You can swap left to right on directional tires as well, you just keep them facing the correct direction.

The only time this doesn't work is if the tires have an inside/outside tread pattern, which is very rare.

Do the rear rims even fit over the is350 calipers? You prob melted the fender-liner a bit. Request them to replace it!

Oh yes that's true, but it's not really cost effective.

Assuming OEM 18" or 17", it should be able to clear the calipers.
