Default "adaptive" headlighting question

I'm not sure about all the technical inner workings of this adaptive headlighting. Best I can explain is how the headlights shift slightly in the direction you are turning. I'm noticing after 4 years that it's not quite as responsive as it once was. I think that one direction isnt "adapting" at all. Any other people with this issue? Is it even worth looking into? It's neat but not worth spending a lot to fix if it's a pricey fix.

i didnt even know mine has adaptive headlight until last week when i changed my HID to 8000K. then again i just got my car 3 weeks ago. i dont think it should be too expensive to fix but then again, its a LEXUS. take it to a good mechanic to see if they are not. i dont think i would make too big of a deal if mine wasnt working. i dont even know if mine work. but im guessing that changing the small motor that moves the lamp head, wud get a bit pricey.
Let me know what you end up doing.

One direction has less range of motion than the other by design. Are you sure it's not just that?

i just remember it being very responsive when I first got the vehicle. The "shifting" of the light was clear and obvious. Perhaps it's in part due to me becoming used to it, but when I remember to actually notice...it's hard to notice.

I certainly wouldn't have a dealership try and fix it if it was indeed having issues ($$$). Try lubricating things first.

Here's a chart I pulled up that could help with your observations:
