Lots of talk about the new body for 2013, but I haven't seen much on the 2012 updates. If I missed it, I apologize. But here, of all places, Motor Trend just announced the 2012 gets lighted Homelink buttons (future pre-2012 mod?). Also, one color will be replaced. With the HS and ES, Smokey Granite is getting replaced with a "Nebular Gray." I wonder if the IS is going to have the same fate. Smokey has been one of the most popular colors. If they dumped it with one year left, I'd be surprised. Any other 2012 info?

Which colors are being lost? I looked at the site but don't read japanese and the english translation doesn't make much sense.

Like the 4GS, either initially the 6-speed auto will continue and eventually be replaced by the 8-speed OR Lexus can take the opportunity to just drop in the 8 in the first place. Expect the 3.5 to put out a few more ponies like the GS. My best guess would be 310-316.
