check engine and check vsc after changing low beams
I just got done changing my HID low beams, after I was done when I started the car, it started up and then turned off. Then I turned it on again and now the check engine light is on and the multi display shows check vsc. Took the car out for a spins everything feels like its okay. Did I mess something up on the install?

MAF sensor appears to be connected properly, it clicked when I put it back into the airbox. And I didnt cold start and then turn it off, the car turned off by itself. Then I turned it on again and it stayed on the 2nd time.

If you disconnected the maf sensor while doing the install and tested your lights before you connected back the maf sensor, not necessarily turning on the car but pressing the push start button twice to the on mode, then the computer read that the maf was disconnected and those lights will appear. Since the ecu scans on intervals, the next time it scans it will see that the maf sensor is connected and the light will turn off. Just keep driving the car if you say nothing is wrong with it. This happened to me, thats how I figured this out.

Turns out there is a problem with my headlight assembly itself because the replacement bulb does not work anymore. Went to lexus this morning and they verified its a problem with the assembly, there looking into what needs to fixed right now, hopefully its covered under the extended warranty.
