Had both of my front head lights replaced yesterday.

Talked to 2 different Service Managers and they look at me as if I had 3 heads attached.

I had mine replaced 3 months ago. The service advisor talked like I would not be part of the TSB as it was fixed in 2011 (I bought mine new in Dec 2011). He came back and agreed to replace them. They new ones look exactly the same :/ Time will tell if they are better. We are just getting ot the sunny season here in TX, so I will be keeping an eye on them.

I recently took my car in three weeks ago and they installed another set of flat black headlights without the eyelashes. After explaining it to them that those were in the correct ones they had me bring in the car again this Saturday and now they are telling me those lights are correct.

Can anyone that's recently had their headlights replaced tell me if the updated parts are once again flat black without eyelashes as this dealer has seriously pissed me off once by taking two days to install headlights and today by having bring in my car and them having it for eight hours for me to call and them tell me this bs story.

I can tell you in Canada that they haven't reverted back to the flat black without eyelashes. Those are the older lights that originally came on the car. I don't know if Lexus USA has released any updated TSIB's though.

Thanks Jeff, I really hate to do it but ill have to contact Lexus corporate on Monday so I can get this taken cared off.

What has really got me upset is the amount of time they've held my car to install the wrong lights and then held my car for another eight hours today with nothing being done.

Here's a pic of my invoice and pics of the lights. Which by the way the driver side one is already starting to bubble again.

Just so people know, all of the headlights bubble. Even off a 2013 IS. And it's not caused by hot weather or being out in the sun. It's from the heat coming off the projector at night when the low beams are on.

I've had my 2012 lights since last August. No bubbles to this day. If it ever does i would just open sand down and repaint it myself

Yeah no one ever listens to me... LoL

It's seems to be an issue on the plating / painting process in that area of the light.
For the ones that are peeling and bubbling, the vendor needs to make that process more "heat resistant"...

I have looked at over 100 different IS's since 2011... More than 75% had the issue right on the lot!!

I once again retrofitted my lights and I have not had the bubbling issue.
