A lot of car makers have been doing it for a looooong time, not just the europeans, and they dropped it on the toyota brand a little before the lexus side, all about brand recognition. Also think about the dollar or so it saves per car times how many they build.

 

I think it looks better with the Lexus emblem, but that's just me.

Well, since I don't know any better looks fine to me! The gigantic "L" pretty much let's you know. Don't remove the 250/350 tho. If it's gone that means 250 to me.. Just sayin

 

It would be cleaner without the 350, too bad there are holes, still can't convince myself to spring for black pearl emblems :/
