Default Remove Glovebox to Access Vaistech ML

The thread title pretty much sums it up. The last few weeks my ML unit (less than 3 months old) has been going in and out. Sometimes it will recognize my Iphone, other times I'll plug it in and get a no cd message. I tried a USB thumb drive and pretty much got the same results so I'm pretty sure its not an issue with the Iphone. I'm hoping the problem will be the USB cable going into the ML unit is loose. Anyone have instructions on how to remove the Glovebox (I had my unit mounted behind the glovebox with the USB cable going into the glovebox). The installer said its simple to remove and I know I have to remove some screws at the bottom but am not sure of the exact steps.

Got it figured out. Plastic snaps off then remove 3 bolts and I could access the unit. No loose cable, but after a firmware update of the ML and the Iphone everything seems to be working again. Thanks for the help ISThree

Can you post pics of where exactly you mounted the unit? Mine is on the floor under the carpet my the passenger's feet.

I just mounted mine inside the glovebox with velcro. Much easier to access when the unit dies (my first one crapped out), or when I pull the HDD to swap content (easier than using the USB upload).

Yeah I know, people like to have room to pack their glovebox full of crap.
