Quote: what the... how sharp can the back of the airbag be... I just checked mine (still haven't put everything in) it's not that sharp hah

anyhow for me I tugged on the steering wheel to get it off and I pulled out the clock spring with it.... guess the force is too strong with me hahah

hey Rog do I break the tab or pull it out when I put it in?

I am afraid to ask but how much am I looking to pay for a fix?

I was installing my steering dampener and like ^^ I pulled too hard and I think I broke the clock spring (a white and pink ribbon was showing)

I tried to put it back together and close it back up only to hear it sound like it tore with I made a u turn. Now my steering controls don't work and I have an airbag light on

Any please help

I just did this same thing yesterday. Airbag light is on. Top won’t go down and windows won’t cooperate like they should. It seems like an easy fix.

Most often people drop the rack or sub frame (think header install) and forget to run the seat belt through the steering wheel and spin the wheel to align the racks pinion shaft and it all goes downhill from there.

Being off 1 turn can damage the clock spring.

Its not the wheel of Fortune! If you you spin it, you get F'd!
