My car was in the shop for 3 days and today when i picked it up this shows on the screen when turned on.. what does this mean?

 

did they jack your nav CD?

 

I dont know, maybe they disconnected the battery off... everything works good, i dont use nav since down here we dont have navigation system..

It would appear to me that your nav disc was taken out since you have a navigation system... why don't you just go back to the shop and ask them what they did?

 

Methinks you had nav but you didn't realize it? Isnt' it satellite?

 

Just take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it. Sounds like you're missing a nav CD.

 

I live in dominican republic and i dont think nav system is available, thats what it meant but i guess ill have to take it to the lexus dealer and see whats wrong with it. Thanks anyways!

 

Still confused, because the car in the above picture very clearly has nav..

You might mean that the Lexus nav system doesn't offer MAPS for the DR, which very well could be the case, however your car definitely has the nav option.

It's very likely a disc issue. And if it was in the shop for 3 days, didn't have the problem before and now it does, then the dealer likely caused it.

 

You do have navigation but seems like not working due to not having the disk inserted or so, and it doesnt matter where you are located if you have nav on your car it will work with the correct nav dvd on it sattelites are everywhere and will pickup signal. Good luck!

Si tienes navegacion al parecer no tiene el dico insertado o algo asi,y no importa donde te encuentres si tienes sistema de navegacion en tu auto va a funcionar siempre y cuando tenga el dvd de navegacion correcto ,satelites estan en todas partes y deve agarrar senal. Buena suerte!

Why don't you just follow the instructions on the screen? Is this really that difficult?

 

it can't read the dvd. remove/reinsert tv nav 1 fuse (10 amp) located mid left below steering wheel or disconnect battery.
