2007 IS250 - Navi System Touch Screen Failure - Please Help
Hi all, this is my first post, but I'm in dire need of some advice/assistance.
I have a 2007 IS250 - and recently - my navi unit touch screen device stopped responding to my touch. The buttons on the left and right side (display, info, etc.) show up, but I can't control anything on the screen.
I took it to the Lexus Service Dept and I don't know if it's because I have a new service rep, or because he was having a bad day...but he quoted me a not so affordable price on an 'exchange unit': $2,500.
I've taken good care of this car and have the files at Lexus Service to vouch for it... The navi/touch screen/control unit crapping out is certainly out of left field and to top it off, I'm not under warranty anymore.
Has this happened to anyone else before? How was the problem fixed? Is the price above reasonable? Is there anyone out there who can recommend a fix?
