Default Mount stock rear wheels up front?

I have a cracked front wheel I need to replace. I found a pair of stock rear 18x8.5 for sale but I need to know if the rears could be used up front because they're wider with different offset. Anyone out there have this setup with pics? Pros and cons? Thanks

If they don't come with tires then get them and install them they should work fine with some 235/40/18 or 245/40/18. You might have tiny rubbing on the fender liner in front nothing of concern. It's the same place people usually get rubbing. Nothing on the actual fender or component. Go for it. I'll go as far as saying you might be able to push the 225/40/18 stock tire size on it.

You could use the rears up front but why would you want to?

I'm assuming your car is a RWD? Staggered is better/preffered for RWD. Non-staggered is better/preffered for AWD.

I would think you could if you needed to. I've seen people run 9"up front. Your rim so bad that it cant be repaired?

our wheels are not staggered by much if unless you do some intense touring or something your not loosing anything in performance with matching wheels up front and in the rear. Ive mounted them and know they work. If you go with 235 or 225 tires all around youll now be able to rotate your tires and increase their life. I know a few people that has done this and are very happy with the results.

GO FOR IT!

Please take a look at this hair line crack on my wheel and tell me if it's fixable. It can still hold air when inflated but will slowly leak out within a day or less. Thanks

Crack looks repairable. You can run the wider wheels up front. Only issue would probably be more understeer.

I took a cracked wheel which was bigger than that to a wheel shop and they welded my rim. find someone who can do that and you'll be fine.
