Default Does anyone gets annoyed when...

Is it just me, or does anyone else gets annoyed when they call Lexus Customer Care to discuss an 'issue'. You discuss the whole issue, and they have to transfer you to another department, then you have to discuss the whole issue all over again. You have the give them your name, number, address, make and model of car, and the 'issue' ALL OVER AGAIN. This is rubbish, why cant the first rep explain to the second rep the issue? Instead of the customer repeating it all over again. Then some of the reps have an attitude...wow. You can hear it in their voice they that really don't care.

Why is it that every time I call, I get a rep like this lol.

I hate when this happens Anywhere. That's I always ask "Who can I speak to about such and such problem?" Before I waste my breath!

Yes you just have to make sure you speaking with the right person before hand like sffd said. Not a lot of customer service rep care these days from my experience when i get a good one its always refreshing

This happens when i call my local Lexus dealer for service too. The service receptionist wants me to explain what i need done. I explain it and then she says hold on a second, transfers me to an actual service rep, and then i have to start all over again. I asked nicely once if i could just explain it to the service representative and she told me she had to know in order to transfer me to the right person.... o_o

Just explain to the first person with few words such as carbon build up or brake problem or alignment or whatever... once they transfer u go into details. What I hate is when they transfer me and no one answers and I leave a message and no one calls me back...or even worse they say ill check for you and call you back and they never do...

Yeah, it seems like the first point of contact is just there to waste precious minutes. It's the case managers that get the job done! Build good rapport with a friendly and knowledgable Lexus case manager, and you can get whatever the hell you want from Lexus!!!

I hate having to repeat my account info when I call, and input my phone #/account #/etc. Why did I just push all those buttons if I was just going to have to repeat it to 3 more people?? So, no, this is not a *LEXUS* issue (maybe Lexus contracts out to Comcast customer service....)

It is worse when they outright lie to you. I called Lexus USA about the valve spring gift card and how come I did not received one. I was transfered and I was told that different places got different things and Florida did not get the gift card. I post this and Lo and behold. Carlos from Miami received a $ 500. gift card and so did someone else. So I was totally being BS by Lexus.
