Default Sewell discount code only for certain items?

I am looking to buy spark plugs for my '06 IS350 and the local dealer wants $15 each for them. They are Toyota part number 90919-01249. I looked at a few sites that I frequently buy parts from, like RockAuto.com, but they are the same price or more. I checked at Sewell, and they only get $12 each for them, but get $9 for shipping. That makes them about the same price that I could pick them up at the dealer for. I typed clublexus in the promo code box, but it said "discount code invalid". I am sure that this is the promo code that I used when I ordered my GFX front lip, but it isn't working for the plugs. I just wonder if I am using the wrong code, or does the discount only apply to certain categories?

Head over to our Vendor Marketplace forum to read about deals and discounts from our supporting advertisers. The sticky at the top of that particular forum https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...unt-codes.html has all of the information about discount codes. In the case of Sewell, you need to provide your Club Lexus forum name when you register on their site, and the discounted prices will be displayed automatically.

yea.. don't buy small items in sewell. If it's like $10, buy from your local store. It charges around $8 for shipping. I bought big expensive item from sewell. They have really good price!

Logged in, but the Lexus owner's price is the same for the plugs ($12.95 each plus $9 to ship). Guess I will just pick these up from my local Toyota dealer. I am really ****, and would be worried that the shipper would slam them around and break one anyway........ Thaks for the tip though. I forgot about logging in first.

Yea, you have to keep checking in. The prices change from time to time. Don't know why, they just do.
