None of the cars I've previously owned leaked immediately after opening the door. The problem is water collects in the upper door jam, but there's no molding or lip to keep it from falling down when the door opens.

agree!microfiber towels comes in handy during rainy season.

i must try this... i dont like the rain water getting in, especially on the heavy rainy days
