hey guys i finally got the kit yesterday and installed it i took some photo. the material it self is really good. its got some give to it so it bends to the shape of the trim really real. it has pretty smooth and the clear coat it consistent. it looks really also. but the fitment isnt al that good. on all the door pieces you can see the edge of the wood trim. The cup holder lid is too small. the center piece also shows the edges but it looks good around the shift gate. I have emailed carid to see if they can fix the fitment issues. they said that they will email me back in 24-72 hours.










o btw i put black tape so it is less noticeable that it doesnt cover all the trim. i think it looks a lil better then rd wood showing

 

That's just an overlay kit that you can get online in this country... Ebay, Carid etc.

 

That website screams "cheap" and "knock-off". I would take your business elsewhere.

That's a loaded and sensitive question on this forum that has been asked and responded too many times. It all depends on what you want to spend and the look you desire. I have the carid kit and I like it alot. Easy install, great fit, real cf with nice gloss overlay. I have pics in my photo album (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mem...0-f-sport.html). The wrap is another great option for the purist. Cost a bit more but if you can afford it, it maybe the way to go.

 

i found the same one on ebay and it will cost you like around 250'ish.

 

that looks like a wholesalers website, not the kinda place you can buy just one of something. Anyway, I covered my interior with 3m Dinoc carbon fiber vinyl and it came out awesome...I would look into that if I were you.

 

check out aerotect's dry CF interior overlay. I really like mine. Its very affordable and gives it a much sportier look.

 

i actually contacted the people at carid.com and asked if they would make a kit that included the center counsel and the doors and the steering wheel emblem. They said that they can make a kit.

 

I have the carid kit and it covers all of what you mentioned. It has about 25 pieces.

 

yea i know but i didn't want all 25 pieces so i emailed them to see if i can get like 10 pieces and they said yea i should be ordering it tomorow.

 

I bought similar overlays before, fitment was crap. Never again.

yea your pics are one of the reasons i wanted to contact them to ask if they can make a custom kit. hopefully mine fits like yours
