I noticed a couple times that when the mirror cover was fully opened that the light would not turn, so I pushed the cover forceably opened to the max and behold...there was light! LOL. Problem is probably a faulty contact point in those visors that goes bad is my guess.

Maybe a new visor is needed.
Has anyone have problems with their visors?

Yeah, I'm not sure that it'll work for long. Sometimes mine works but when I do need to use it, it doesn't come on at all Best bet is to get new visors.

If you want them used you can post up a WTB thread in the Classifieds or look on eBay. Not exactly sure where you can buy them new besides the dealership.

my driver side flickered for awhile and has stopped working for a couple of months now.. Almost seems like the visor doesn't hit the switch or something....

I called Lexus and said if I wanted Toyota reliable visors I would have bought a yota instead of buying the higher price IS.
I advised the woman that I don't care if they don't work but if I have to listen to my girl tell me one more time that she can't see her vain self in the mirror I'm going to either
a) catch a charge
b) rip off the visor
c) all of the above

She laughed and said someone will call me tomorrow from corp. We'll see.
