Oh yeah I forgot they were coming out of his car originally.

I keep my tires between 35-40psi
I was always told that passenger cars should be set at 32psi, but I've read that people on here keep them at 35-40psi.

Scenario#2
Wheels from another IS with their OEM TPM, do I need reprogramming? I read somewhere the sensors are programed to a specific car? Please correct me if i'm wrong.
Scenario 1 - correct
Scenario 2 - you will need them reprogrammed.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that once you initialize the TPMS, whatever the psi is at that time is what the car remembers. So when it gets below that mark it goes off. So basically if your tires are set at 35psi and the tpms are initialized the warning light will come on if it gets to <35psi

oh so what ever the tire pressure is set to it will keep that in that in the system, no need to reprogram a new PSI setting?

yeah, it will be 'set' to whatever the tire pressure is when the TPMS are initialized.

there is no way to disable it, either they are on the car and running or of it and then u will have to deal with the check system light. One way is to make this contraption "Time bomb" and compress it to the specified PSI and throw ur TPMS in there. Keep it in the trunk. This way u wont have to deal with the check system light.
