Quick TPMS question,
Hard to search for this answer with the 'search function' but:
I have TPMS in my rims, but they are not programmed into my car, so i get the usual "check system" indicator. Lately, it has shown "low tire", followed by "check system". One tire was low, so my question is, TPMS work even if they are not programmed? They just give you the error and "check system" constantly? That's how I'm understanding them now.

I have had these tires/rims/tpms on the car since july 2010, and this is the first time i have ever seen "low tire" on the display. It's an '09 if that makes a difference.
my question is do tpms sensors go off if your tires are over inflated? i just checked mine and the rears were at like 60psi and the fronts were at 50...i never inflated them this much i thought 35 was the norm?
