Default Question on TPMS...

hey guys,
i was wondering is all TPMS are the same even with different IS(AWD and RWD)??
i mean..can some body's TPMS use on some body's IS??
because im selling my wheels and it would save some work if only tranfering one car instead of two cars.
so anyone knows about this?
thanks

same. you don't really need them if you check your tire pressure every month.

but you'll get an annoying light.

I don't have tpms on my new volks.

I didn't want to spend money on those things.

There are 2 versions of TPMS for 2006 built 2IS. Please post your build date. The cutoff is April 06.

If the build date of your car is pre-April 2006, you car will take any of the TPMS sensors for the IS - pre- or post-April 2006. I haven't verified if the post-April 2006 cars can use the pre-April 2006 TPMS.

I was just gonna post a thread about this too. Just to letyou know, I got my car in august 2006. Don't know when it was built. But I don't mind paying for tpms change. Just to keep it on the safe side. It's only $15 a wheel.
