I've always looked at the 250 as a GREAT LOOK. The AWD is great but besides for these two things its .... I would love if lexus had made a AWD 350.

not in my price range. if i solely look for speed, i wouldn't sold my Evo X. i was looking for a reliable entry luxury car for daily commute. IS250 and Acura TSX fit the bill. i chose the 250 because overall is a better car than the Acura. but even TSX's four banger feels faster than the IS250, i believe that's due to the rev happy k24 Acura has.

My 250 works jus fine street and Highway... Why buy a 250 then complain about it? You wanna go fast get an IS-F Ricky Bobby.

I think you got down, to add to this, the 250 is much more polished and refined. Not to mention, it gets the same fuel economy as the tsx 4 banger (21/30), as a v6 with more tq to boot. Rwd definetly gives the 250 an edge as a sports sedan compared to the
tsx. The 250 is intended to do what its meant to, by offering entry level sport/luxury in an efficent powertrain.

i like my 250. its not like i really need to smash anywhere. But its always funny when i do smash, because the car sounds fast (intake & exhaust), but its actually going like 50mph.

definately an awd 350 is being made in 2011 now....wish i waited another few months before purchasing my 250, however i did not buy the 250 for speed. i bought it for the nice car that it is, and it's pretty sexy

I had a 2010 IS250 as a loaner for three days and I felt fine with the car. To me it felt very similar to my IS350, just a little slower, no big deal.

Im perfectly happy with my IS250 ... It can go just as fast as every other IS350 .... but it just takes me longer to get up to that speed haha ...

Hopefully I can pick up a 08 ISF in a few years ... after they have gone waaaaay down in value. I think I read in another thread that they will be like 25k around 2013

The IS250 is slow, but it's not too slow, just slower than the other models. I drove an IS250 AWD, IS350 RWD and IS-F before ordering my IS250 RWD M/T. I knew what I was getting, and I don't regret it at all. It gets me around just fine and is more than capable of getting up to speed within a more than reasonable time.

I've never had a problem. I think my 250 AWD is just as responsive as my RX-8 was. All I have to it punch the gas, or downshift with the paddles. I keep mine in ECT Power mode almost all the time.

I think the IS250 does well around town and has plenty of pep for merging on the interstates and such... but from 80 mph on, its a dog! But we don't typically drive it that way...

dumb... I mean if you are going for power a 1j or 2jz would make smoother power and much cheaper. Everyone to their own i guess
