Default Blown Side Mirror Puddle Lights?

Tonight I realized that as I approach my car, the interior front and rear domes light up, but the side mirror puddles do not. I remember they used to, but I don't know when they stopped working.

Any ideas? Is it likely that both sides' light bulbs are blown? If so, I am considering swapping them out for LEDs.

If both bulbs are indeed blown, I recommend: http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68086-1-3.html (they have 5000K, blue and other colors as well).

I ordered a pair of the 6Ks that you linked (to match my low beams). Thanks for all the answers!

I got my 6K LEDs today and installed both of them. However, they still did not light up. I checked all the colorful fuses and they seemed to be fine. Any other ideas? Did I check the wrong fuses?

Sometimes when installing Led's you need to turn the bulb around if they don't light up. Wish you would have checked it before you closed it all up. You'll have to open it all up again.

with those leds... after you install them you need to pull them out a little bit. Not sure why, but that worked for me.

I had read about having to pull it out, so I tried that, too. Neither side worked. Also, I think the VLEDs work both directions. I could be wrong... :[

I've scheduled a diagnostic with a dealership and will go try an autoshop before then. Thanks for all the feedback!

So after I brought my car to the dealership, I learned that the side mirror puddle lights can be turned off! /facepalm

I'm not sure when or how mine were turned off, but it does not matter now. When he showed me that they working, I saw the full glory of my 6K LEDs. They look sooo good!

They fixed it for free (but my car also had a bunch of other things that needed to be fixed, see this thread).
