Default Puddle lights not working?

On my '04 LS, when I walked up to the car with my remote in my pocket or hand the puddle lights under the side mirrors would come on. On the '05 LS I just picked up it's not doing that. Actually, neither side mirror's lights seem to be coming on.

So, I'm wondering if there is a fuse or switch or something that might be causing the light not to come one. It might be possible that both bulbs happen to be out so I searched for what it might take to replace them. I've found mixed reports from having to take the mirror out to using a credit card and plastic pry bar to get the lens off.

Does anyone know of something I can check or do you think it's probably the bulbs? Any posts you know of on how to change the puddle lights?

It mit be a fuse or the bulbs shot. But first check the switch under the steering wheel is on for the smart remot access.

I'll double check the remote access but the keyless start seems to be working so that's probably not it. I'll also look to see if there is a fuse but I don't have my manual with me. The car is in a shop and I wont' be able to go look until tonight unless I can find a manual online. I would think it's not necessarily a fuse since the auto in/out on the mirrors seem to be working and you would think the bulb and mirror motor would be on the same fuse.

It leads me to possibly the bulbs being out but it's kinda weird that the both are out at the same time. That's why I'm trying to find out how to replace those without having to take the mirror off. I haven't even found the proper way to change the lights just yet.

You can use this;

Post #5 has a clear tutorial on pulling the lenses out to replace the lamps. It's a tutorial on installing LED bulbs, but the concept is there...

Got them out and replaced the bulbs which were the issue. They were more of a PITA than I thought they would be. The credit card trick didn't work for me, I had to use two small little flat blade screwdrivers to get them out.
