Default IS250 AWD 19" wheel question

on a non staggered 19x8 wheel set up can you run a 225/40/19 tire? I see on the ISF that size is run on the front. Im interested in this cuz I like the extra meat on the tires to protect the rim. Let me know, thanks

shouldn't be an issue. though you may want to include if you're lowered or not. And also 19x8 is kind of...ehh.

You can safely run staggered 19x8.5-19x9 in the front and 19x9-19x10 in the rear with AWD. Might be something you want to considered.

^ Safe as long as the rolling diameter is the same between front and rear. That's what I would do though, because 19x8 in the back will look extra weak. IMO

How do you calculate rolling diameter?

I've done a search and found out 235 front and 275 rear would work but what about 225 and 265?

hmm..ive had a question concerning that calculator thats been eating at me. most peeps agree that using the calculator off the 1010tires website will net u a difference of less than 1% when running the 235/35 with 275/30 combo on a staggered setup on the awd...obviously to keep the rolling diameters as close as possible to each other, what i dont get is how that calculator doesnttake into account what width of rim u are putting these tires on..,,correct me if im wrong but once u start stretching tires these numbers get shot out of wack.....what width rims are these calculations based on. If im missing something, please tell me...

Unless you are doing an extreme stretch, that shouldn't matter. Of course there are a ton of variables (like PSI pressure, wear tear, etc), this calculator is for general basis only. Just to give you an idea...
