Not bad but I think were over doing the HID thing. Seems every bulb has to be HID. Not bad though for $50 bucks.

LIke I said, everytime I see mine in a reflection I fall in love with them a little more.

It helps that when I pull out of my driveway and go to work, I see them everyday in a huge picture window of a house at the end of the street!

He added LED DRL's, not HIDs. HID DRLs would be pretty nuts.

Unless you have two identical SLRs at the exact same manual setting, in the exact same ambient lighting, pictures probably won't do any good. Maybe you can go out to a local meet and compare these to the V-LED kit in person? I'd like to know which is brighter too. Both look good though! Were you able to fit the "decoder" and all the wiring behind the moisture shield so that there's no drilling?

question:

With your LED for DRL, does the High beam function still work or would the lighting just stay the same like in your picture?

I have LEDs for my DRLs but have yet to install them

yes it would still work but since your DRL LED are at full power it won't get any brighter but you still have the bi xenon headlight those would light up when you hit the high beam

Was not able to fit it behind the moisture shield, but I did secure the shields back in place normally, and attached the decoder with electrical tape on either side..wiring was covered with plastic tubing as well. Looks great, no flicker.. but I'll tell you - it was hell to get those moisture covers back on..

Did you drill behind the moisture shield to run the wires through? The moisture shield basically seals that area off so I don't see how you could get the wires through any other way...
