Hey guys,

I started my car the other day and it began violently shaking. It left like there was a giant counter weight on the engine. I hadn't driven the car in a few days and it had been cold (-20C or -4F). The problem went away after about 3-4 minutes of idling and slow driving. I searched the forums, including the carbon build up threads, but this appears to be a single isolated incident that has never happened before and hasn't happened since. This didn't really have same symptoms of the carbon build up, given that it hasn't happened since and I can't reproduce it, even by leaving it outside again.

I'm not sure if I should just forget about it, or should I investigate further? I never had the TSIB done on the car for the carbon build up.

 

I'd take it to the dealer. Never heard of this problem before.
