Hey guys,

I was wondering if you could tell me which kit was better and why?
I plan to buy them soon.

Thanks,

I have a DDM Tuning 55W kit in my car for 2.5 years with not a single flicker or issues. They have a great warranty department and they last. Hell I'm still on my original bulbs.

I heard about a start up flicker and was wondering if it applied to the DDM kit?

i have hidxtra kit and it hasnt even been a year but my left bulb is already donezo...i told em and they said i got a DEFECTIVE bulb. i never knew they sold defective bulbs or i wouldve gotten my bulbs elsewhere. anyways, i have to take it out and cut some wire and take a picture and email it to them so they can send me a new bulb. hopefully itll be the same color and this time wont be defective..if you dont want to take the chance of getting a defective bulb and go through a whole lot of bs, then i suggest u get em elsewhere.

they both are good. but trying to match the low and fogs will be hard.

Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback!
I was wondering is there a difference between the DDM kit and the Raptor kit offered by DDMtuning besides the $10.00 difference?

Thanks

Love my hid from ddm tuning. I have all 55 watt 5000k for my brights and low and 3k for fogs. I also have them on my daytona triumph no problems at all. Only thing is the guy at the HB location really hates his job and service is really not that great.

although hidxtra is a vendor here on the forum, i have to agree with majority of these posts. i've had experience with both DDM and hidXtra and the results from DDM were clearly better.
1. no flickering
2. been almost two years and no problems.

my cousin worked for DDM and told me that they have more issues with the cheaper ballast then they do the more expensive ones. however they both have lifetime warranty. so i mean its up to you on what you want? the more expensive one is more durable like a Toyota and the other one is like a Kia. jk. but regardless thats some insider info that was relayed to me.
