Electric Short
Monday night, went to bed. Woke up in the morning to see 3 out of 4 of my windows open and my sunroof partially open. And that night, noticed that my passanger side headlight was out. Has anyone had this problem with their car? I havent done any work to it yet, the car is completely stock. I either blew the bulb or ballast on the drivers side so I will just buy a new set of lights to replace both sides. How bad is it to replace the headlights and ballasts in the car? Plus, do I need to be worried about the electrical system in the car?

The open windows and sunroof was no doubt caused by something in your pocket accidentally pressing (and holding) the open button on the key fob. This happened to me at work shortly after getting the car, so I had the dealer turn off the "hold open button to open windows and sunroof" feature.
I'm pretty certain the problems with your HIDs are completely unrelated to this.

ok well i didnt know about the hold unlock for the windows feature but it only did 3 out of the 4 windows. and i know for a fact it wasnt that because my keys were on the table from when i got home until i went to work the next morning. i went outside for several cigarettes throughout the night and my windows were never down at any of those points. and just a few hours after that is when i noticed the headlight problem. when i parked the car that night, i had no problem with the headlight. came out the next morning to the windows open and the passanger side headlight no longer working.

i highly doubt its your ballast. try swapping the bulbs (ie put your passenger side bulb in the drivers headlight) as see if the problem is the same. If so then you know its the bulb and not the ballast. To change the ballast you have to remove the headlight which requires removing the bumper. The ballast is located under the headlight on the side closest to the fender.

Tracking a short should be the dealers problem not yours on a STOCK car
