Default IS350/250 Leather Cleaning ?

Hey guys, just a quick ? I want to the best stuff to clean my leather. I have been using McGuiers for a long time. My side driver seat is starting to show wear, which is natural for a 07 but i want to hook my cars leather up I ready all through the cleaning forum and was wondering what everyone in here uses. So far it looks like Leather Masters and Leatherique is the top stuff .

I use the lexus leather cleaner/conditioner. It actually worked out pretty well last time I used it and its really cheap if you get it from sewell. Made my seats darker, not sure what to do about the leather "cracking" from wear and tear though.

Great thread, I've been wondering about a good leather cleaner/protector myself. Does anyone know if there is any leather cleaner that PRESERVES the original lexus leather smell? I love that smell lol.

I use Leaherique's system on my F355 regularly. My IS is 6 months old so I haven't done anything with it yet.

However, met a CL member two weeks ago (LexusRN) and Leatheriqued a portion of his passenger seat in his 2006 IS. I haven't seen the results in person but he very quickly asked me where to buy it.

Leatherique.com. Plus, their customer service is unparalleled. George is phenomenal with answering any questions you may have.

LexusRN....where you at with the pics???

I use stuff called Murphy's works awesome and some how everytime I get in my car it smells like brand new leather. Everyone always comments on it, but I also don't eat, drink, or smoke in my cars. Yes I know it says wood cleaner but on the back it listed a ton of other stuff and it leaves the leather like new, we first started using back in 93 on my mothers Cadillac.

I just bought an extra set of seats, its bound to get stretched out so when it does I'll just swap them out for a new set

I use woolite diluted 10-1 for cleaning and Lexol for conditioning afterwards. I like it but have never made a comparision to others.

Sorry but the best stuff is Tanner's Preserve/ Leather conditioning cream.

Just rub it in with your hands and wait 5 minutes than buff.

Works great !!
