Hello I am new to this site and I was wondering if somebody can please help me. I just bought a 06 is350 from a dealership and it's been great for the past week. Until the past few days I started noticing a squeaking noise in the backseat every time I turned at all. It's killing me to finally have a decent car and this starts happening. Does anybody know how I can fix this or what to do? I'd take it into the lexus dealership but I don't think I have a warranty on it since it has 51k miles on it. Is this what I really have to do to fix it or is there another solution? Somebody please help if you can. Thank you.

 

i have this problem on and off and i put it down to weather as hot and cold weather can make metal contract and make the noise -

but the link you posted is intereting too

i just ignore as it back seat and put the music up high

 

I just had a friend follow the instructions on that link's attachment and it got rid of the problem. All you have to do is cut off the 2 pins under your seat and you won't hear anymore squeaking.

Got it from a mercedes benz dealership in rochester, michigan. Then when I asked them to help me fix this problem, they said they couldn't because they don't have lexus tools. Idiots 4real.
