So i got into a hit and run accident about two months ago. I finally got some courage to post up the pics of the car. Unfortunately the car was totaled. I was on my way home from work, took the exit and as i was making a left turn some idiots run a red and hit me. Their car went off to a distance and three people in that car got out and took off on foot. Surprisingly I was okay.

I put so much time and money behind this car and was so hurt when this happened. Its sad to see something go especially when your really attached to it. My insurance company gave me a good settlement and I decided to save most of the money and buy a Camry. I made a huge downgrade but so far im happy with it.

Yea im glad im okay too. If i didnt see them coming and wasnt able to hit my breaks, who knows what would have happened. And for all i know they caught two of the three people. everyones been saying that, why camry, ive just been in a F*$k it mood after the accident. but hey im happy with the camry and im already modding it Installed HIDs on it already and i just bought the Viper 5902 remote start system

No it wasnt stolen. it was registered to the driver they caught. She didnt have any insurance though and the cop told me she was on welfare.

 

Damn, that was a pretty bad hit, glad to see you are OK...

 

I do not get why she ran if the car was registered to her.... Well I guess she could have said someone else drove it, but there would have been witnessed seeing her run.

 

Fortunately for me, three witnesses stopped and told the cops what happened. the whole story is pretty crazy. The next day the cop that took the report calls me and tells me everything about her and how they caught them... i was like 'are you sure can tell me all this information?' He even told me where she worked. hahaha

 

Wow, very glad to know you are okay after seeing your car like that. Where did it happen? I think I recognize that intersection. Where does she work lol?

 

what a nasty accident! at least your OK!!!!! I got into a hit and run last week too, but it wasnt as bad.

 

Glad you're alright, a car is still a car, even though it's your baby, you can always work on another one.

Thanks... It happened on the Lincoln exit off the 5 south. Closest intersection is Manchester Ave and Lincoln Ave in Anaheim. And the cop said she worked at Wells Fargo finance office on harbor blvd. lol

Yea it was bad :/ the front bumper flew like 30ft away. Did you get your IS hit?

Yea i know, thats why im glad im okay. Its quite crazy cuz i barely felt the crash. i dont even think the car moved lol.
