I have a safire pearl is250 and would like to get the windows tinted. I live in Nj so it's not legal on the front windows but would still like to get them all tinted. Would it look good if I went with say a 15% on the rear window, 35 on the rear door windows and 50% on the front? I would like to get the fronts tinted a lighter shade to make it look like they are not tinted bc I don't want to get pulled over.Would this combo work well and fool the cops?
i got 35% front+rear windows rolled up passed alot of cops with no problem
basically depends on the officers mood and where you are driving i guess
if you are heavily tuned and fooling around of course you'll get pulled over
i would get the rear windshield and rear windows tinted the same percentage, than the two front windows the same percentage also..consistency is the best. i have mine 35% all around no problems but i live Oregon also. looks solid..
I live in NJ. I live in Bergen County and work in Newark. I rarely get hassled by the cops. If i see a cop i roll my front windows down and if I am doing something illegal i drive the whole time with the windows down. I would either get them all tinted the same percentage or not tint them at all. Also if you have black interior you don't need to go with a dark shade of tint because it appears darker than it is. I almost went %20 but my boy talked me out of it. I am glad i listened cause %35 looks perfect in my opinion. Here is a pic of my car for reference. The glare makes it look lighter in the front but its not.

but i say its probably a bet LOL
I run the same in CA, 35% all windows, no prob.
It certainly looks better than 3 tone or 3 different shades of tint on various windows.
I have 35% all around and it looks really nice, at night time you can't see through your windows. Also it isn't too dark where you can't see whats behind and your blind spots i wouldn't go any darker.
