Hi CL,
Got in touch with CarspartsWarehouse and they have 60-09 OEM navigation units available for IS250's & 350's. These units are reconditioned but come with a one yr unlimited miles gaurantee.
Heres the shocker - The entire unit costs almost $2700! Does not include the wirings. The guy mentioned that the wiring would have to be custom made and would cost $600?? (not so sure about that one) He also mentioned that he has all the navigation parts if anyone is interested in buying them per item (like the screen, etc) They only deal with OEM equipment.
Can anyone contribute if this is possible? if its, how much would be labor $$ for installation.
Maybe Matt from Automax can chip in.
Here is the # 18005655021, if anyone wants to inquire.
dont do it. you can buy it new for 2000. you can also buy it for 1.8k made by flyaudio, which is aftermarket but they are of very good quality and have more functions than the OEM one
Where can I buy a new one for $2K? Ive heard of FlyAudio and was almost installing it but heard some negative comments about lack of support from the company about upgrades and stuff like that recently. I might just wait for their next gen system.
I think it all depends on what is important to you. If you are looking for OEM, than I think $2600 is a pretty decent price (I am not sure what additional hardware you need or what the labor is to install), but it's probably closer to $3,000. However, if you are dead set on OEM, than that's your option/price.
If you want aftermarket with a clean OEM look, I think the FlyAudio is the best option. The price point is better (especially this week with our special offer) and it has more options in terms of DVD, RCA, USB, etc.
Now if you don't care about OEM look and are interested at a lesser price point, there are all kinds of double din units out there that will suit your needs. I think there are alot of good options out there for everyone, it just depends on what's important to you. Let me know if you have any questions about the FlyAudio. Thanks!

Iam looking for OEM look only. Until now my only option was FlyAudio but i am not sure if the bugs have been fixed yet. I thinks its a great product with a great price point. But I dont want to keep having to maintain and upgrade a nav unit if I am going to be spending $1800+
PM me the special pricing
