those arent drl's, they are the parking lights. Pop your hood, remove the front engine cover and look for the cap on the back of the headlight where your brights are. Remove the cap, remove the bulbs and install. You need the SMT kit with the relay if you want to get the DRL's. Its like $100

Note too that if you did put LEDs in place of the actual DRLs you'd no longer have functional high-beams.

Default Drl

Hello Lexus Family - I too have just begun my search for LED or HID. I've read so many posts, and I'm still left with a sinking feeling in my gut, "which ones".

Here is what I have found so far for the DIY, however I have not found the bulb yet-
DIY LED DRL and PARKING LIGHTS

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...t-and-drl.html

My 06 is250 is Not HID equipped.
I understand that the DRL is also the High Beam, and if I change the existing bulb to a led, I will lose my high beams. I am okay with that, as I drive mostly in the city. However, I also see the parking bulb, do I change both to attain that beautiful 80%White/ 20% Blue Glow ?

I've read that a relay or module is needed to avoid a flicker issue, but I don't know if this all comes together in a kit.

you can change both your drls and parking bulbs if you want. parking light turns on when you turn on headlights so if you change your parking lights you would have the white led parking lights on with your yellow headlights.

If you change your 9005 drl to led you do not need to change the parking lights to match. Parking lights does not turn on unless you tell it to, unless you like to drive with your parking lights on.

i used

for my parking lights and

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...79223-1-2.html
for drls on sale for 29.99 discontinued or you can get the newer ones for more
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...52845-1-2.html

for the 68 led drl i got 2 modules to avoid flickering.. didnt really need relay harness
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...97704-1-2.html

for the 28smt it is recommended to use the module and the harness if you want full power and no flickering , but you dont need to
