Default Valentine One Concealed Display Setup

Hi, my name is Richard Chang. I've been browsing these forums since I got my 2010 IS250 back in May. I just wanted to share my V1 setup with concealed display. Credit to kensteele's thread for how to hardwire the main unit it. I hope my concealed display setup helps someone.

Tools:
V1 main unit
V1 concealed display
Screw Driver (to remove the rear view mirror and tuck the wires into the headliner)

Notes:
Clean fuse box area. I only pulled down enough of the red wire so that it would reach the fuse box. I plugged it into #15 like this. The hardwire setup comes with a wire-tap at the end of the red wire. In order to plug this into the fuse box you have to cut the wire tap off. The ground wire is attached to the same screw that kevp913 attached it to, but mine is out of view.

In order for the concealed display to be visible while in a normal driving position, I had to use the supplied velcro to angle the display. Hopefully those last two pictures show whats going on.

After removing the black side panel, the one that touches the door when the door is closed, you can pry off the panel just underneath the steering column. Its one big piece across the width of the driver's seat, but its easy to pry off and put back on. Just don't RIP it off... there are a bunch of wires connected to it. Hopefully the pictures are clear.
