Last week my 08 IS250 was showing "low battery" warning.
Then I took in to the dealer for some warranty work like blown cig lighter fuse and vanity light.
Next day when I pick up the car, the low battery warning is no longer there.
Do you think they changed the battery? It does not show on the worksheet though.

I saw it maybe 2 weeks ago, and they said just to drop by parts and they'll put in new ones. I also brought my spare, they replaced both, checked the batteries which were low and really low, no charge.

That's funny! I posted an identical thread two months ago with the exact same situation. I was getting the warning, spoke to my SA about it, but he said "no" to a free battery. Then I get my car back after service and the warning was gone. Yet on the invoice it didn't say they replaced the battery. It just said the cause was a low battery. Not knowing what they really did, I monitored it for a few weeks and concluded they must have changed it since no warnings have returned.
I guess that is Lexus service.
I guess I never mentioned that on my Rx300 the remote cracked and broke.
It was replaced under warranty.
