i still get the dashboard crack sometimes. it really freaked me out the first time. i thought a rock fell from the sky onto my roof.

Will have to agree that the '10 model's dashboard is much more quieter than mine. It feels much more solid and tight. The center piece that houses the navi and AC controls is definitely much quieter..
