VaisTech - will this work for 2006 Lexus GS300 with no NAV and no ML?
Once we add 4th gen compatibility, SL2iC will be compatible with your GS. Email us at info@vaistech.com to be put on the waiting list. This way you will get notified when it's available for your car.
is it possible to upgrade older Vaistech models to this new functionality? I really would love to salvage more than just the Ipod cable from my current setup.
Given the delays, I'm going to wait a bit longer. Might as well wait till I get the $500 Lexus service/parts certificate that they are giving as apology for the valve spring recall.

I have nav but no ml and i have a 6 disc changer? what videos will this unit play? can it play anything that shows on the iphone 4 screen even if it's jail broken. or is it limited? will i need to purchase anything addtl. for my car? does the unit come with every wire needed to just plug into my iphone 4 and listen and watch videos?will pandora and hulu and netflix work?
Under os 4.1 jail broken iPod touch or iPhone you need display out installed, then entire iPhone or iPod spring board will show up in video mode. Under iPod mode only iPod content will be shown including music videos I believe.
App called display out can be found in cydia. Just google display out in 4.1 os and you should be able to get proper repo to add in to cydia. Hope this helps.
