New Product: VAIS Tech SL2iC
I have the same question: Nav without Mark Levinson, would I benefit from ML+? Or is SL2IC good enough?
From what I understand, Mark Levinson systems have digital sound while without it, it's analog anyway. But there might be difference in the video?
Secondly, with ML+, if I don't care about using the Nav while driving, do I need the PS override? ML+ does allow screen usage while driving doesn't it?
Thanks in advance guys.

When i first installed it, i did CD-emulation, than changed it to CD-MP3 emulation. Does that effect the ipod out?
Plus my iphone 4 is on 4.1 firmware
Is your phone connected via bluetooth? The programming process started by the beep won't happen if there is an active bluetooth connection.
bluetooth is off. CD-MP3 emulation is programmed. Left switch down, Right switch up. One long beep than a short beep, than change switch up, one conformation beep, turn off the car, 10 seconds later, turn on, same situation.

they told me that it might be my phone, but i tried both an iphone 4 and 3gs on 4.01 and 4.1 and still no luck.
when i first installed it, i did all the emulation. do you think messed it up? my dumbass, didnt read the manual correctly.

try the following:
- very quickly press the DISC button twice, it should cycle to your changer and then back to sl2ic. see if that helps. do this very quickly, like within a sec
- go to page 2, press on RETURN, and punch in the code to enable the video. by now your ipod should become available. see if you can play any videos, it should. if it works, touch the screen, go to page 2, and then press on RETURN button again. now you should be back to ipod. see if the screen comes up

also try to go to FM, disconnect the phone, wait a bit, plug it back, and then go back to DISC (SL2iC) again, see if that helps

The latest software is 4.2.1 That's what I'm running.
You could, but it wouldn't change any of the features. It would be the same except for the fact that the iPad is connected.
I tested it with my iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. All work fine. But the iPod touch is the winner because it can be left in the car and be forgotten.

Just posted a video to show how the ML Plus interface works on my review thread here.
