and i'd still like to hear some sort of answer, is this all show *Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement* or is it actually functional?

Hopefully Rick can answer this for you, as I am clueless about this mod. Since it's been on my car I don't think it looks bad, if seen in person it is actually really subtle.
Ordered mine . Hope to have it on by early next week. Will post pics.
The diffuser looks, at worst, just fine... and for those of us who dont really care about rear lips it's a nice subtle mod on the backside. The retail price, IMO, is a little steep considering that it's just a piece of plastic, but there's no competition so...alas. If it were $150. I'd have not one hesitation. For it's retail price...I had to think on it and if i currently didnt have a little extra to blow I probably would have passed due to it being such an expensive piece of plastic despite liking and wanting it. It's in the same mod league as a rear roof spoiler, I think. If only mine hadnt been ripped off...ugh
