Default 2011 IS Refresh?

Forgive me if this is a repost. The IS section is one of the most active in this forum so the posts just get knocked off the page so quickly!

Courtesy of Lexusenthusiast.com

most notable changes include the trim on the glove box, LED daytime running lights, cleared rear turn signals, changes to the fog light/lower dam, and new rims, which might be a regional thing

That front bumper is awful, it looks like a smiley face from that angle

I doubt there would be a 2011 IS facelift when they just did it for the 09 ....I would think the next Generation IS would be due out as a 2012 model year...so I can't see them making a facelift for the 2011 model year...

Repost AND already established that the LEDs are an aftermarket mod. Adaptive cruise has always been an option.

I love the headlights... but the silver steering wheel trim piece seems tacky to me. It kind of reminds of the Scion Tc. I prefer it to be uniform across.

When was it established the headlight LEDs are aftermarket?

The new headlight assemblies also have a darker redesigned internal housing with new signals (looks like just one now instead of the current two) and a chrome shroud around the projector. So unless it's a new whole aftermarket headlight assembly yet to be released, it's more likely a new factory design.

^^ LMAO. Pwned, it's pretty easy to tell the difference between taped on and a whole new headlight assembly design.

On another note; Toyota did the same thing on the new 09+ taillights like on the 06-08 ones. Orange first, then they come out with 'clear' versions.

Those pictures are legit.
It is the latest update for the China market.
Lexus will put the IS250 into the China market as a replacement for the current 2Gen IS300.

^ Makes sense. Wonder how much those headlights are going to cost when bought separately. I'm thinking $1500+
