I bought my 2010 IS350 a few weeks ago brand new. While I was there I asked when the next model update was, incase I wanted to wait for the 2011 to come out. He seemed to think that the update was originally for the 2011 but was pushed back to the 2012. But he was sure that there was going to be at least one more facelift before a whole new platform. He could be wrong but this is what I was told.
it looks so ugly ....
LEDs DRLs are soo played out
Bumper looks like it was ripped straight from a carolla
the steering wheel with the silver trim on the steering wheel looks like sick to my stomach
hope this stays in the china market

I gotta agree with the steering wheel, silver makes it look sooo cheap IMO; that would look good only in a Hyundai....well The All New Lexus CT is getting it too :P
2011 IS Spied?
It appears that Lexus is preparing a facelift for the 2011MY IS as spy photographers snapped the test mule in China. The new facelifted version is expected to receive daytime running LEDs just like the LS flagship sedan, new fog lights, new rear lights as well as a new steering wheel. For those who don’t know, the last update to the IS range happened back in 2009 and this means it will be the last update until the next-generation will make its debut on the market.
oh and might as well get the fogs too.

If this is how the IS is going to end up looking like in the future then I am going to have to start searching for a new model to replace my 2IS.
This thing is freaking ugly! 09 was going backwards too with the ugly tacky chrome!
