2011 LEXUS IS facelift
My dealership called this week wanting to buy out the lease for my 2009 and lease me a new 2010. I am starting to wonder if I don't need to. I definitely don't want the 2011 version (not liking the front bumper at all) and now it is looking like my lease will be up well before a 3IS comes out
My current lease is up Oct 2011.
What would you guys suggest? Wish I could talk my husband into an is350

I've got some details from our dealership in Australia regarding the new IS250/350. First of all gone is - passenger side memory seats from all grades, also gone is the rear privacy screen in rear window, also gone is adaptive HID lights that appeared in the 09 f-sport, also there will be a two blacks (the existing acrylic black, and a new metallic black called starlight black). That's all for now.
Given the AWD 350, I'm thinking 0-60 in 4.4ish, but 1/4 mile times 13.6-13.8? I remember back to my Eclipse GST and GSX days when I was younger and modding those cars to increase power was easy, but man the AWD GSX would launch like a rocketship, but the GST would catch up and pass the GSX down the road....

The car only has 300 hp... awd is not going to knock half a second off the 0-60.
At only 306 hp it might not knock anything off 0-60 at all, and it'll certainly be slower in the 1/4 mile with greater drivetrain loss and hundreds of lbs more weight.
The GS350 for example is slower in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile in AWD trim... it doesn't make enough power for the AWD to be of any performance value whatsoever.

0.1 seconds slower 0-60 and 1/4 mile for AWD. (and worse mileage, worse turning radius, pretty much worse in every sense for AWD)
Now, put 500 hp in a car, AWD is very useful. 300 hp? it's dead weight for people who don't know how to buy snow tires.

Its pretty much the industry standard for DRLS.
