2011 LEXUS IS facelift
I'm torn about the new front bumper. The lower grille looks like it's missing something - looks like a big gaping hole in those pictures. The area around the fogs is pretty sweet though. I wonder what the front lip looks like.

Absolutely shocking and disappointing! I can't believe Lexus would take such a risk by NOT brining out the 3IS next. Another facelift, only two years after the last one (unprecedented), is new territory for the company. Now this new update will have to be on sale for two more years, bringing the 3IS no sooner than MY 2013. That makes the 2IS one of the longest running production cars to come around in a long time. All this, from a cutting edge company? Again, very disappointing. I believe this to be a poor decision that will cost them in the longrun as other competitors bring out all-new bodies on a regular schedule. This is a half-assed move and I just lost a little respect for Lexus. Only positive is my car will not be outdated as fast, but that's a poor consolation.
i know what you mean. it kinda bugs me too, hopefully toms or vertex can construct something nice to fill it up. yeah the fogs are sick, to bad theres no projectors.

This is nothing new for the IS line...... Lexus knows exactly what they are doing
Keep in mind thet kept the SC430 around for 9 years total....
Again, if the keep the 2 Gen IS around for 7 years.. (more than likely)
It will continue to be a SOLID MODEL for the Lexus Brand!!!
