^ I think small amounts of water could get in there, which is why the holes should be filled.

Yeah it's real easy, ONLY complication is getting it smooth and even (hence over filling a little then scraping across with razor blade before caulk dries.)

So why did lexus make holes for the emblems? Why didnt they just use a 2 sided tape or a silicon glue to attach them like subaru or acura does?

Because the holes are used to set the emblems straight so that they don't appear crooked =)

exactly. Kinda a downside. As much as i like almost all aspects of my car. I wish they could ya know....take an extra minute to line it up with out dummy holes.

i was wondering if you debadge your car and later one decided to put it back on can you do it and what type of tape would you need? i've been wanting to do this for a while but afraid that i might mess up on filling the holes and cant put the badge back on.
